The Izium community joined the charitable collection for the rescue of animals from combat zones.
On the official Facebook page, the Izium City Military Administration announced that from November 23 to 27, a charity event #PowerCoins was held at Izium Lyceums No. 3, 6, and 11, organized by the National Bank of Ukraine.
The aim of the event was to raise money to help animals affected by the war. The collected funds will be directed towards food for the animals, medical treatment, equipment, and the establishment or expansion of spaces in shelters that accommodate animals from combat zones.
Events that took place during the charity drive included the "Care Budget" project, the film club "Friends Forever," and the "GoodBingo" challenge. For the sake of this good cause, teachers, parents, and students united to collect coins to support those in need.
The results of the collection are truly impressive:
The team of Izium Lyceum No. 6 raised 7,705 hryvnias, the team of Izium Lyceum No. 3 managed to collect 1,222 hryvnias, and the team of Izium Lyceum No. 11 gathered 659 hryvnias.
