How the Day of Dignity and Freedom was honored in Izyum District
On its official Facebook page, the police of Izyum District reported that a ceremonial commemorative event for the Day of Dignity and Freedom took place on November 21. This day has become a symbol of the courage and resilience of the Ukrainian people, as well as their aspirations for freedom and democratic values.
The leadership of the Izyum District police participated in the event, along with educators, business employees, representatives of state institutions and organizations, students, and residents of the Izyum community.
Those present honored the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred with a moment of silence, as well as all defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives for the country's freedom and independence.
During the event, words of gratitude were expressed to participants of the Revolution of Dignity, as well as to the military defending Ukraine on the front lines. A thematic performance presented by the youth was dedicated to responsibility and dignity.
The final stage involved participants creating a symbolic "Living Chain of Dignity," representing the resilience and unity of Ukrainians. At the end of the event, candles were lit as a symbol of the light, warmth, and courage of our people.
The police of Izyum District emphasize that dignity and freedom begin with us.
