Science as a Weapon and the Future: Professor Oleksandr Kryvokon Gave an Open Lecture for Karazin University Students

The meeting took place in the format of a lively discussion, where the speaker emphasized to the youth the key role of science during full-scale Russian aggression. It was not only about theory, but also about the practical application of knowledge to strengthen the defense-industrial complex of the state.

Oleksandr Kryvokon also discussed strategic visions for the development of educational and scientific potential with the Rector of KNU, Tetyana Kaganovska, vice-rectors, and deans of faculties.

It was not without valuable gifts for the university. Having visited the scientific library of Karazin University, the professor transferred his own works to its collection, as well as books published with the support of the public organization "Warriors of Good," which he heads.

Oleksandr Kryvokon is a well-known figure in Ukrainian science and industry:

Experience and management: In 2017–2018 and 2021–2024, he headed the Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Company (KSAMC), managed the Kharkiv Tractor Plant (KhTZ) and other machine-building giants.

Scientific achievements: Author of more than 100 scientific publications, two monographs, and textbooks. In 2007, he defended his candidate's dissertation in philosophy, and in 2016 — his doctoral dissertation dedicated to the history of tractor manufacturing development in Ukraine. Since 2010, he has taught at NTU "KhPI", and in 2022 he received the academic title of professor.

Public activity: Honorary professor of a number of Ukrainian and foreign universities. Actively implements historical-patriotic and scientific projects for youth, heads the NGO "Warriors of Good."
