December 6 is a holiday celebrated by both children and adults. This holiday is called St. Nicholas Day. The police of Izium joined in the celebrations for children on this occasion.
This was reported on the official Facebook page of the Izium Police.
The aim of the event was to provide children with a sincere, friendly, warm, and magical atmosphere for the holiday. Another goal of this event was to create a positive image of police officers as adults who care about children.
The law enforcement officers wished the children health and the fulfillment of all their dreams, while also reminding them of the importance of following safety rules in everyday life. The children received gifts, genuine emotions, and enjoyed communication in an open and friendly atmosphere.
Such meetings contribute to strengthening trust between children and police officers, motivating the younger generation to adopt an active civic stance, and supporting the development of social and political awareness.
