The Izium Police remind citizens that allowing a child to drive is a danger, not a game.

On their official Facebook page, the Izium Police stated that only those who have reached a certain age and obtained a driver's license of the appropriate category are allowed to operate a vehicle.

Sometimes, parents allow their children to "try" sitting behind the wheel out of curiosity or good intentions.

However, this can end in danger for the child and everyone around them. It's important to remind children of traffic rules and explain them thoroughly, as well as to demonstrate why it’s essential to adhere to safety and not allow children to operate a vehicle.

There is administrative responsibility for transferring control of a vehicle to a person who is not authorized to drive, specifically according to Article 126 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine.

We must protect our children, as safety begins with responsibility.
