The police honored the memory of the victims of the Holodomors

The police of Izium region participated in honoring the memory of the victims of the Holodomors.
On their official Facebook page, the Police of Izium region reported that on November 22, a memorial rally-requiem was held in the city of Izium near the Cross of Memory in observance of the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Holodomors. The police officers of Izium region also joined in honoring the memory alongside representatives of local authorities, institutions, and the city's community.
All those present paid tribute to the memory of those who died during the Holodomor of 1932-1933 and other famines of the 20th century.
In a moment of silence, all participants bowed their heads and placed candles, flowers, and ears of grain at the Cross of Memory.
The Police of Izium region calls on all residents of the community to join today at 4:00 PM for the nationwide action "Light a Candle of Memory." This action symbolizes unity and honors those who lost their lives unjustly.
