As a result of enemy shelling in the Izium region, a couple has died.

A tragic event occurred in the city of Izium: occupiers conducted an airstrike on December 20 at around 3:40 PM. A couple was killed: a 47-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman, who was a police officer. A 64-year-old woman experienced an acute stress reaction and was provided with medical assistance.

This information was reported on the official Facebook page of the Police of the Izium District.

As a result of the shelling, damage occurred to a café, the premises of a non-functioning enterprise, the city Palace of Culture, a residential apartment building, and civilian vehicles. A private residential house was completely destroyed.

Explosive technicians, investigative groups, and other specialized services worked at the scene. Police recorded evidence and the consequences of the shelling and conducted inspections.

Information regarding this incident has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
