Izium residents returned after their vacation in Transcarpathia
Children from disadvantaged categories of the Izium Territorial Community spent a 14-day session at the "Shayani Camp," located in the picturesque village of Rakosh.
This was reported on the official Facebook page of the Izium City Military Administration.
For children living in challenging conditions in the frontline zone, this trip was more than just a camp. It was two weeks of normal life without sirens, explosions, and alarms, the opportunity to sleep peacefully, spend time actively outdoors, interact with peers, and restore their nervous system in the natural environment of the Carpathians.
Such trips are currently critically necessary for the emotional relief of these children.
The journey took place as part of the regional health improvement program and was funded by the regional budget. The vacation became possible thanks to the joint efforts of the Department of Youth, Sports, and Image Projects of the Izium City Council and the Department of Social Protection of the Population.
