Residents of the Izium region have declared weapons and 308,000 rounds of ammunition.
On the official Facebook page, the Izium Police reported that residents of the Izium district declared: 286 units of weapons and over 308,000 rounds of ammunition.
Among the declared items are: 271 automatic rifles, 4 rifled carbines, 1 combined shotgun, and 7 smoothbore shotguns.
To undergo this procedure, you need to have the following documents: a passport, identification code, and you will also need to contact the weapons circulation control sector at your local police department.
Experts will conduct an inspection of the weapons, carry out their registration, and issue a document that confirms the fact of declaration. After this procedure, the weapons will be returned to the owner.
Declaration is the first step towards legal use of weapons. When martial law ends, citizens will be able to obtain a permit for the storage and carrying of weapons on legal grounds.
