The price of a peace agreement. Ukraine explicitly states that it is impossible to cede its territories to the aggressor country. Instead, the White House persistently states that Ukraine will have to give up some territories to achieve peace.
The news that Trump considers the recognition of Crimea as Russian as a concession in a peace deal and intends to initiate the process of recognizing Crimea as Russian territory at the UN was shocking.
