“Only 30% to 50% of Ukrainians who currently hold temporary protection in Europe are considering the possibility of returning to Ukraine after the war.” This figure, voiced in a study by the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, comes as a cold shower. While we dream of rebuilding cities and attracting billions in investment, scientists issue a sober warning: we risk finding ourselves in an empty house.
