A wave of alarming news from Poland has shaken society: a series of knife attacks in schools, the detention of over a hundred teenagers due to threats on social media, and panic surrounding a mythical "Bloody Friday" have forced parents, educators, and authorities to take a fresh look at the safety of educational institutions.
But are these tragedies exclusively criminal incidents, or are they the result of a deep socio-psychological and information crisis?
We spoke with psychiatrist about why modern teenagers fall into the trap of the "digital underground," how social media algorithms push them onto the path of radicalization, and how to recognize dangerous warning signals in time.
