Hardly a week goes by without the topic of "peace talks" between Ukraine and Russia surfacing in the media. Since the beginning of March alone, Turkey (President Erdogan) and China (Special Representative-Envoy Li Hui) have been vocal about this.
It is interesting that The Wall Street Journal recently published the terms of a peace agreement that Ukraine negotiated with Russia in April 2022, six weeks after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. The publication claims that the agreement was almost agreed.
The author remembers this day - 29 March 2022 - in Istanbul. And especially what the WSJ does not write about (since the American magazine used information only from the Russian side).
