The new 11th grade Ukrainian history textbook by Akim Galimov, Oleksandr Hisem, and Oleksandr Martyniuk has been heavily criticized by historians, politicians, educators, and ordinary Ukrainians.
Social networks are outraged that the section of the textbook on the full-scale invasion of Russia is replete with photos of Zelenskyy and his team, and they receive more attention than the military.
In addition, critics point out problems with objectivity, drawing attention to the selectivity of topics and “white spots” in the presentation of Ukrainian history.
