Poet, translator, teacher, friend of iconic dissidents of the Soviet era, Kharkiv native Marlene Rakhlina (August 29, 1925 – June 5, 2010). On the 100th anniversary of her birth, thanks to the efforts of her son and daughter, Yevgen Zakharov and Sasha Savranska, she gathered her friends for her anniversary.
