The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine reported on the success of the support program.
In the Kharkiv region, an important initiative to provide firewood to communities faced with corresponding needs as a result of acts of Russian armed aggression is underway. The corresponding initiative is implemented thanks to local budgets and the help of international organizations.
The Kharkiv OVA has identified 21 priority communities that should receive priority supply of fuelwood. The total need for assistance for residents of this region is estimated at the level of 18,287 households.
As of the beginning of January, 43% of the total need - 7,868 households of priority territorial communities of the first tier - have already been provided with fuel wood or funds for its purchase.
An important stage in the implementation of the program is the identification of communities that primarily need support in providing fuel. This ensures rational and efficient use of resources.
Six priority territorial communities of the II stage have a total need for firewood for 2,375 households. So far, 26% of this need has been provided - 616 households.
These numbers testify to the great success and dedication of the government of the Kharkiv region in providing comfortable living conditions for its citizens. Local authorities hope to accelerate the pace of providing fuelwood. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
