Emerson, an American poet of the past, thought about lost happiness. And how much happiness do we lose against the backdrop of suffering, anger, despair, inspired and vain hopes against the backdrop of war? Who can count?
The majority of Ukrainians have low levels of happiness and life satisfaction, high levels of anxiety, while a significant number of them feel meaning and value in their work.
These are the results of a pilot study of the level of personal well-being of Ukrainians conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) based on the results of 2024, which were recently released.
