How many people today remember that schools and universities are designed not only to teach but also to educate?
She is an extremely purposeful, strong-willed, wise person and an outstanding teacher. These epithets describe Valentyna Ilarionovna Astakhova, an honorary citizen of Kharkiv, recipient of the Order of Princess Olga of two degrees, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and Professor. These days she is celebrating her 90th birthday.
