Florian Bachmeyer photographs people living near the frontline in Ukraine and shows their dramatic situation.
The photographs in this series, one of which won the World Press Photo Award, were taken in the spring of 2024 and published in the pages of the oldest Swiss newspaper NZZ .
They show life along the front line - in Kherson, in the recaptured territories south of Mykolaiv, in Zaporizhzhia region, in Donbas and in the north of Kharkiv region.
