Talking about peace while continuing to kill, methodically, day after day...
In May-June 1944, some SS officers took about 200 photographs as soon as another train with Jews from Subcarpathian Rus (Transcarpathian Ukraine, then part of Czechoslovakia occupied by Hungary) arrived at the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp.
With German meticulousness, they pasted these photographs into an album and even took the trouble to sign them.
