About 45,000 books are victims of Russian aggression. Serhiy Polituchyi on the importance of books and book publishing for the Ukrainian nation at the Gromada Group Media

In May, the Russian occupiers in Kharkiv launched a missile attack on the Factor-Druk printing house, the largest enterprise in the Ukrainian printing industry. The missile hit killed seven employees and injured more than two dozen.

Almost 2,000 m² of the binding shop burned down, unique equipment was damaged, and the fire destroyed about 45,000 books, including Vivat, Ranok, KSD and ACCA publications. 

 

Why does the enemy destroy Ukrainian printing companies in addition to the energy sector and military facilities?
