Intense passions are flaring up worldwide regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files. Your reviewer is certain that Hromada readers are already nauseated by the stream of disgusting stories, and frankly, I have no desire to include them in our traditional global media review. However, avoiding the explosion of such a massive information bomb is simply not an option.
Not as a secondary story, but right alongside the Epstein files, all foreign media outlets came out with screaming headlines: Russia has once again committed genocide against Ukrainians on the eve of a new trilateral meeting between representatives of Kyiv, Moscow, and Washington in Abu Dhabi on February 4 and 5.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited Kyiv to express his support. Zelenskyy met with him and urged allies to provide more air defense systems and exert "maximum pressure" on Russia to end its full-scale invasion.
Zelenskyy is "ready to play by the rules," but Russia is "creating chaos," Sky News quotes the NATO chief.
"Zelenskyy is absolutely ready for cooperation and for a deal with the Russians... but this makes one doubt the seriousness of the Russians' intentions. I know that the American president is doing everything possible to end this horrific war, and I commend him for that," the NATO Secretary General noted, making sure to pay his respects.
Rutte consistently spoke of Trump with admiration and added that he is "absolutely confident" the White House noticed the overnight attacks (the White House itself had made no statements at the time of this review).
Describing the massive Russian attack on Ukraine, Rutte emphasized: "This has nothing to do with winning the war... it is about creating chaos."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a bilateral document on security guarantees from the US is ready. What could this mean?
