Kharkiv farmers suffer both from the war and from weather conditions: first, spring frosts affected crop growth, then drought. Today, the average yield in Kharkiv region is estimated at 25-27 centners per hectare. This is half as much as even the last war year.
- "Our agricultural enterprises are located in Kupyansk district, 15-50 km from the front line," said Valeriy Dema, vice president of Sigma Blazer Investment Company, in the Know More program of the Kharkiv Press Club. - "One of the main problems of the agricultural business, especially in the east and south of Kharkiv region, is the minefield.
