Telegram between criminology and conspiracy. Putin flew to Baku to meet with... Durov?

The detention in France of the owner of the Telegram channel and cryptocurrency entrepreneur Pavel Durov turned out to be an event of such a global scale that the entire world community has been buzzing about it all week. Why did Putin and Durov allegedly meet in Baku? Why, knowing his arrest was imminent, did Durov purposefully fly to France? There are many mysterious circumstances and riddles in this case...
These mysteries were discussed by experts at the Kharkiv Press Club during the author's program by journalist Oleksandr Shvets “Political Cafe: Russian Aggression. How is it changing Ukraine and the world?”.

In 2024, Telegram was used by 950 million active users. Surprisingly, most people use this network in India. This is followed by Russia, Iran, and Uzbekistan. There are many Ukrainians among the users.

It is also known that Pavel Durov traveled to France from Baku, which some observers perceived as an attempt to meet with Putin on the issue of personal immunity.
But... According to sources from the Russian dictator's entourage, the Russian ruler never uses the Internet or even a computer, working with documents exclusively on paper.
Therefore, the big question for Gromada is what the creator of progressive information technologies of the twenty-first century could talk about with his “grandfather” from the KGB of the 70s.
It is disturbing that all Russian propagandists have come to Durov's defense, declaring him a “prisoner of freedom of speech.”
What is really going on? I wonder what Kharkiv experts think about this...
