Abnormally high temperatures, dehydration, dust storms, and various natural disasters have become a regular part of people's daily lives. To what extent is climate change affecting the territory of Ukraine, what are the main causes of these phenomena, and is it possible to prevent the negative effects of climate change?
This was discussed in an interview with the program “About Science. Competently” program (hosted by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Volodymyr Semynozhenko) on the YouTube channel of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, said Vira Balabukh, Head of the Department of Applied Meteorology and Climatology of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Candidate of Geographical Sciences.
