The story of how a priest of the UOC-MP seized a church in the village of Samiylivka of the Blyzniukivka village council of the Lozova district after the community transferred to the OCU, arbitrarily breaking the locks that were replaced after the vote, and threatened the current rector of the Church of St. Prince Volodymyr the Equal-to-the-Apostles, Father Andriy Chelombitko, and his wife, has received a loud public response.
The police classified the seizure of the church as arbitrary arrest. Criminal proceedings were opened under this article, and the Lozova police continue to investigate the case.
