An advanced center for supramolecular research is being created in Kharkiv at the Institute of Single Crystals of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. As the founder of this field in modern science, Nobel Prize-winning French scientist Jean-Marie Len said: “The score of chemistry should not just be performed, it should be composed!” And now Kharkiv's melody for one of the newest branches of science, supramolecular chemistry, is being born.
This became possible thanks to the victory of a team of young scientists from the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry of the S&T Center in the prestigious competition of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine “Research Infrastructures for Advanced Scientific Research”.
The project “Development of new materials for biomedical and veterinary purposes based on supramolecular systems”, which brought the Kharkiv team a victory in the all-Ukrainian competition on the chemistry of supramolecular compounds.
