Aggressor forces are planning new terrorist attacks on Ukraine's energy facilities. To counter this, Ukraine planned to build a powerful three-level defense of energy facilities by the end of 2024. The Cabinet of Ministers, together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was to implement the project on behalf of the President. However, not a single facility has been completed.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal recently recently told journalists about the state of construction of protective structures for Ukraine's energy facilities.
According to him, the State Restoration Agency has begun to build protective structures against missile attacks for Ukrenergo substations, but Western partners have not allocated money because they doubt whether the fortifications and structures created will really protect the substations from Russian missiles.
