Most of us are used to perceiving the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine exclusively as a place for selfies against the background of blooming lilacs or magnolias. But behind this beautiful facade stands a great, sometimes unnoticeable, but critically important science for the state. Plants today are not just a decoration; they are a strategic resource for national security.
