Russian state media immediately blamed Ukraine for a drone strike on a civilian bus carrying Belarusian children in the Bryansk region. Following a deadly Russian strike on the center of Chuhuiv, pro-Russian networks distributed a forged decree from the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration ordering a mandatory evacuation of Chuhuiv, Eschar, Kochetok, and nearby villages. Chuhuiv Mayor Halyna Minaieva promptly debunked the fake. The operation aimed to exploit local grief and shock to cause panic, create massive traffic jams, paralyze local administration logistics, and obstruct Ukrainian military movements in the frontline area.

A video clip of a masked "Ukrainian soldier" alleging that advanced Western weapons are being systematically sold to the Middle East and Africa via the darknet flooded global social media platforms. The Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) exposed the footage as a 100% AI-generated deepfake showing typical digital lip-sync and artifact glitches. The campaign was targeted entirely at Western taxpayers to delay or halt defense assistance packages scheduled for late 2026.

Russian Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) networks launched over 75 coordinated publications alleging that European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen issued a "secret letter" planning to revoke temporary protection statuses and forcibly deport Ukrainian men back home for mobilization. In reality, EU temporary protection policies are public and collaborative, and international law strictly forbids mass forced deportations for military service. The operation aimed to terrorize Ukrainian refugees and fuel anti-immigrant narratives across the EU.

Russian propaganda resources claimed Ukraine is replacing international mathematical terms like cosine, trapeze, or bisector with radical nationalist neologisms (e.g., kosyna, rivnobizhnyk, dvosichna). The source material was actually an educational video by linguist Alina Ostrozka for #ShoTam, discussing the history of Ukrainian science and how the Soviet regime brutally suppressed native scientific terminology in the 1930s.
