The fake story about there being no evidence of a Russian airstrike on a kindergarten in Kharkiv was launched immediately after the attack. The source was Russian security forces and their affiliated media, which claimed there was no kindergarten at the address where the attack occurred, and that the photos and videos of the aftermath were staged.
Following the Russian drone attack on Kharkiv on October 22, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Kharkiv authorities and media reported a direct hit by a drone on a private kindergarten, where 48 children were sheltering at the time.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office released video of the Russian drone strike on the kindergarten building. The footage captured the moment of impact and explosion.
The corporate colors of the private kindergarten, Honey Academy, are clearly visible on the façade of the destroyed building.
Photos and videos of the aggressor country's crime have been shared across social media and international media.
From an interview with Dmitriev, special envoy to Russian illegitimate President Putin, on the American television channel CNN:
"Melania told Trump how you're attacking maternity hospitals..."
"I'm not a military man, but the military says we only attack military targets. By the way, have you seen how many civilian casualties there are in other parts of the world? Much more! And anyway, it was Ukraine that initially attacked Russian-speaking people. There's a lot of disinformation out there."

If there are still civilian casualties elsewhere (Dmitriev was probably hinting at the Gaza Strip, - author), then why shouldn't Russia?
Even after the lies about the kindergarten in Kharkiv and Dmitriev's stupid admission, is there still anyone among us who scrolls through Russian Telegram channels looking for "alternative" information?
