PSYOPs of the Week (Jan 26 – Feb 01, 2026): The Kremlin Offers a Confession... Unidentified Flying Little Man—We See You! Cartoon by Olexandr Sydorenko at the Gromada Group Media
Cartoon by Olexandr Sydorenko.

Kyiv receives an invitation from the Kremlin: "Volodymyr Oleksandrovych, please come to Moscow for negotiations. We give you ironclad security guarantees—as solid as the Budapest Memorandum and as honest as our word not to invade on February 24th." Zelenskyy replies: "Thank you, but we already have our own security guarantees. They are called 'Stugna,' 'HIMARS,' and the lack of a shared border in the future."

It’s a joke, but it carries a hint... A deep geopolitical subtext: a demilitarized zone. Specifically, the creation of a wide buffer zone on the territory of the Russian Federation so that their artillery and S-300 missiles simply cannot reach Ukrainian cities. The only real guarantee of Russia fulfilling its promises is the physical impossibility of breaking them.

While the RF dreams of a "sanitary zone" inside Ukraine, Ukraine and the world are increasingly discussing scenarios where new state entities or a "wall" (both mental and physical) emerge between civilization and the aggressor.

Putin Decided to "Sit Down and Talk Life"

Listen up: what a spectacular absurdity! Following a meeting of the Ukraine negotiating group in Abu Dhabi, Axios sources began claiming that the next stage of negotiations—a meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy—is drawing near.

"We saw a lot of respect in the room because they were truly looking for solutions," the publication's source stated.

WHAT is wrong here?

The Axios speculation about a "Putin-Zelenskyy meeting" and the "atmosphere of respect" during negotiations deserves critical scrutiny. The phrase "respect in the room" sounds like a cheap attempt to bolster Trump’s image as a "great negotiator."

WHY is this happening?

It appears that Axios is being used to test the waters: the White House, through loyal media outlets, is floating an ultra-optimistic scenario to gauge the reaction from Kyiv, Moscow, and European capitals.

Energy Truce as a Road to the Hague

How the Kremlin Signed a Confession On January 29, US President Donald Trump stated that he had asked Vladimir Putin not to strike Ukrainian cities for a week. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed this. Subsequently, the Kremlin stated that Russia agreed not to conduct strikes only until February 1.

THE "GROMADA" TAKE:

The mere admission of an "energy truce" is a self-incrimination by Kremlin war criminals.

— "When officials confirm the existence of a 'truce' regarding civilian infrastructure, they indirectly confirm that Russia acknowledges the shelling of energy facilities is not a matter of 'accidental hits' but a controlled process," comments Oleh Mykhalchuk, Candidate of Legal Sciences, for Gromada.

According to international law, attacks on objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population are qualified as war crimes. Admitting to a "truce" proves intent—the most difficult element to establish in court.

FAKE:
Ukrainian Military to Defend Greenland Russian

Telegram channels are circulating a video purportedly from the BBC. It claims that Zelenskyy agreed to send troops in the event of a US invasion of Greenland, as noted by the VoxCheck team.

WHAT is wrong here?

Neither the BBC nor Bellingcat disseminated such information. No such video exists on any official BBC platform (website, X, Facebook, YouTube).

A New Wave of AI-Generated Videos

The Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) has observed an intensified spread of AI-generated videos featuring caricature characters on social media. The true goal is the internal destabilization of Ukraine.

Tilly-Tilly... Farce:
German Sculptor Tried In Absentia in Russia

Moscow’s Basmanny District Court has initiated a case against German sculptor Jacques Tilly for his satirical figures created for the Düsseldorf Carnival.

The trigger was Tilly’s interview with Deutsche Welle. Following the initiation of the case, DW contacted the author. Jacques Tilly stated: "Russia has gone mad. This is a farce. The accusations are ridiculous." You can find more of his work on his website Grossplastiken and the Jacques Tilly Team Facebook page.

Even When Turned Off:
"Big Brother" is Watching Us...

Former CIA officer John Kiriakou, in an interview with The Diary of a CEO podcast, claimed that smartphones and Smart TVs can listen to a room even when turned off. According to him, intelligence agencies have possessed such capabilities since the 1980s.

Who is John Kiriakou? A former CIA officer who exposed the post-9/11 torture program. He became the only CIA employee to be imprisoned for disclosing classified information to journalists.

Unidentified Flying Character

AI has embarrassed itself! The search bot Sider, analyzing the image of a hovering little man in a green uniform, issued this review: "The character has exaggerated features... a mood of loneliness... identity impossible to determine."

...But have you determined this identity? I think it's impossible to mistake!
