Who doesn't know the catchphrase of the Prussian military “blogger” of the early nineteenth century, Carl von Clausewitz (1780-1831): “War is the continuation of politics by other means”?  Analyzing what is happening in the information space and social media, we can rephrase it as follows: “Peace is the continuation of war by other means”.

This refers to the increasingly strong and widespread claims that it is urgent to make peace with the aggressor because Ukraine itself is to blame for the deaths of Ukrainian citizens and the destruction of our infrastructure. Simply because it does not want to stop resisting genocide.

 

In short, Ukraine “should just stop shooting”... The authors of such theses do not bother to predict what will happen next.

 

And this is supported not only by masses of special automated bots, not only by paid old ladies from the LDPR who have recently discovered the Internet, but also by very specific people whom the author knows personally.

 

I don't know if it's my social circle, but for some reason there are a lot of doctors with high academic degrees and titles among them.

 

I can only explain this in one way: while teaching staff has been and remains an indestructible administrative resource for the authorities, in post-Covid times, the resource of medical publics, to which millions of users have subscribed, promises simply unlimited opportunities to influence the minds of fellow citizens.
