Europe is moving towards new sanctions against Russia, while the United States seems ready to move in the opposite direction, seeking to establish closer relations with Russia. Trick question: is this the very split within NATO that Putin has sought to create and exploit for his own interests for two decades?

"Brave New World" is a dystopian satirical novel by the English writer Aldous Huxley, published in 1932.

 

The novel was a response to "A Modern Utopia" and "Men Like Gods" by H. G. Wells, the author was inspired by the work of the philosopher Bertrand Russell "The Scientific Outlook" (1931), which warned against a possible future seizure of power by a bunch of intellectual technocrats.

 

It came true, but not exactly! There is a bunch of technocrats, who, however, can hardly be called intellectuals...

 

Oh, brave new world! How not to argue with anyone and live 115 years; a fluorescent tape for the president, the unity of Europe and NATO on the verge of collapse, who spends how much on war.
