Stepan Bandera is an extraordinary historical figure, one of the most influential political leaders of the twentieth century. His life and activities still arouse great interest among ordinary people and scholars alike.

Today, his name is a truly Ukrainian one. Chauvinists call Ukrainian patriots Bandera followers, and the Ukrainian language is called Bandera. Justifying the military invasion of Ukraine in 2014 and then the full-scale invasion in 2022, the Russian dictator made Stepan Bandera almost the main proof of the threat to Russia's national security. After all, he not only fanatically believed in the full-fledged state revival of the enslaved Ukrainian nation, but also became a symbol of resistance to any occupiers, especially Muscovites.
