Combatant literature is notes, impressions, and episodes of war scribbled with a pencil in the trenches, typed on a laptop in hospitals, and posted on social media from a phone, which later become texts of works.
Literature authored by combatants and veterans who have been through the war is a new trend that has recently appeared in contemporary Ukrainian literature.
How is combatant literature developing in Ukraine? Is the number of military authors growing? Is there a demand for such literature in society?
Why are the works of combatants so important? And are they an informational weapon against Russian propaganda?
